How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
Newborns are best photographed between 5 to 10 days old. At this age, babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl into those sweet, womb-like poses. This timing allows us to safely and gently capture those timeless, cozy images while your baby is still adjusting to the world.

When should I book my newborn session?
It’s best to reserve your session during your second trimester to ensure availability around your due date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll confirm a specific session day within that ideal window. Booking early helps us prepare and ensures you’ll have one less thing to think about later on.

Where will my baby be photographed?
Your session will take place in Michelle’s serene, light-filled studio in Chandler Arizona, thoughtfully designed to provide a warm and peaceful environment for both baby and parents. The studio is fully stocked with soft wraps, cozy textures, and delicate props—so you can arrive and simply relax. We also offer in-home sessions as well but they are slighltly diffrent  (we will cover this option in the consultation meeting).

How long does a newborn session last?
Sessions typically last 2 to 3 hours. We move at your baby’s pace, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and plenty of cuddles. There’s never any rush—just a gentle flow focused on your baby's comfort and well-being.

Can siblings be part of the session?
Absolutely! Including siblings is such a beautiful way to document your growing family. Michelle takes great care to make these moments feel natural and joyful for older brothers and sisters, creating images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
